There is an effort to get the International Olympic Committee to recognize beelining as an event in the Summer Olympics.  The poster at left was smuggled out of mainland China, and is evidence that the Chinese hope to someday dominate the sport, and are now recruiting young children with superior vision and a good sense of direction for specialized beelining training camps.
