Many famous people have enjoyed bee-lining.   US President John F. Kennedy revealed his plans for the afternoon in a speech given in Berlin Germany, on June 26, 1963, saying "Ich bin ein Bee-Liner".  His statement was completely misunderstood by the press and is misquoted in most history books.
